Mr. Hagerman is the President and founder of Easy Street Capital. Mr. Hagerman’s efforts focus on capital sourcing, strategy, and overall economic performance of Easy Street Capital, LLC.
Over the past 15 years Mr. Hagerman has created residential investment, brokerage, construction, and escrow companies that have completed transactions valued over $1 billion. Mr. Hagerman has acquired, renovated, and sold over 2,500 residential assets and established residential offices in markets throughout Texas, California, and Arizona.
Mr. Hagerman began his career with Buchanan Street Partners, a commercial real estate private equity firm based in Newport Beach, CA. While at Buchanan he was involved in the structure and capitalization of over $1 billion worth of residential, multi-family, retail, office, industrial, and hotel transactions. Mr. Hagerman has over 15 years of structured finance and lending experience and has arranged all types of capitalizations including construction financing, bridge debt, permanent loans, mezzanine debt and joint venture equity.
Mr. Hagerman graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Mr. Hagerman is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and is involved with non-profits Young Life, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a board member for the CouldYou organization and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (University of Texas).
Mr. Denton is a Partner at Easy Street Capital. Mr. Denton’s primary responsibilities at Easy Street include origination, underwriting, and investor relations.
Mr. Denton began his career in Los Angeles with Investment Real Estate Associates. At the company Mr. Denton focused on underwriting and selling investment properties including residential, office, and multi-family. He successfully completed the sale of properties valued in excess of $100mm.
Over the last 10 years Mr. Denton has been involved with the acquisition, renovation, and disposition of over 1,000 residential assets located in California and Texas. Mr. Denton has inspected and renovated over 500 homes and has experience managing over $30mm of residential construction projects. Mr. Denton has developed a large network of residential construction relationships throughout Texas including vendors, contractors, and inspectors. Additionally, Mr. Denton has overseen the origination, funding, and servicing of over 300 residential loans totaling over $100mm.
Mr. Denton is currently a licensed Texas agent and graduated from the school of Business and Management at Azusa Pacific University.
Mr. Townes is a Partner at Easy Street Capital, overseeing all California operations. His background includes capital raising, portfolio management, asset management, business operations, and software development.
He began his career as an Intelligence Officer in the Marine Corps where he twice deployed to combat operations in Iraq. Following his military career, he spent the next 10 years focused on real estate investments. He built and managed a business platform that successfully invested over $1B of equity in residential and small cap multi family assets across multiple states. Over the last year, Mr. Townes originated and managed a $50M California debt portfolio.
Mr. Townes holds an undergraduate degree from James Madison University where he majored in Computer Information Systems, and an MBA from University of California, Anderson School of Business.
Robert is Vice President at Easy Street Capital, overseeing servicing and secondary market loan sales. His primary responsibilities at Easy Street include loan payment collections, whole and bulk loan sales and workflow and technology design.
Robert has 26 years of experience in loan originations, operations, underwriting, compliance, servicing and capital markets in both startup and established environments. Mr. Price has supported real estate loan products including conforming, non-conforming, balance sheet and government originations as well as subordinate real estate debt and equity.
Over the last 15 years Mr. Price has held various Executive roles with Countrywide, Bank of America, Loan Depot and Unison Home Ownership Investors. He demonstrated a proven ability to turn around underperforming or under-developed operations by designing and implementing process improvements and cost-effective solutions. In return, these efforts increased loan volume and quality as well as positive bottom-line results.
Robert studied Economics at The University of Texas at Austin and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity where he held several social and administrative roles. He is also an avid hunter and sports enthusiast.
Mrs. Smith is an Senior Account Manager at Easy Street Capital. Her responsibilities include marketing, originations, client management, and facilitating the easiest hard money borrowing experience for her clients.
Mrs. Smith has closed over 300 transactions totaling more than $100mm in loans across Texas. Mrs. Smith has over 15 years of investment real estate experience and a deep network of investor relationships. She has been an active participant in private lending industry organizations and events throughout Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.
Mrs. Smith is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and a licensed Texas real estate agent. Mrs. Smith has spoken publicly on numerous radio shows and podcasts and is considered an influential voice within the private lending industry. She lives in Austin with her husband and new daughter. Her hobbies include volunteering with Austin Pets Alive along with providing marketing and public relations services for various nonprofits.
Mr. Correll is a Senior Account Manager at Easy Street Capital. Mr. Correll’s primary responsibilities at Easy Street include marketing, originations, and client management.
Over the last 5 years Mr. Correll has been involved with the acquisition, renovation, and disposition of over 150 residential assets in Texas totaling over $50mm. Mr. Correll has direct experience managing residential construction projects and has established contractor relationships throughout Texas. Additionally, Mr. Correll has developed a large network of investors and has acted as an intermediary selling over $15mm worth of investment properties.
Mr. Correll is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he also played football. Mr. Correll volunteers at The Stone Church in Austin and enjoys fishing throughout Texas.
Mr. Warbrick is the Head of Accounting for Easy Street Capital and has been with the company since 2012. In this role Mr. Warbrick is responsible for the supervision and review of all financial operations, preparation of financial statements and management of cash flows for all operating companies and funds for Easy Street Capital and affiliated companies.
Mr. Warbrick was a Senior Tax Manager at Haskell & White LLP with 13 years of public accounting experience. During his tenure at Haskell & White, Mr. Warbrick had a focus in real estate, manufacturing and retail industries. Mr. Warbrick has significant experience working with small corporations and partnerships with an emphasis in real estate and tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Warbrick has also been heavily involved in individual, corporate and real estate tax planning and consulting.
Mr. Warbrick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University and has maintained a CPA designation since 2000.
Mr. Matthias is a Senior Associate at Easy Street Capital. Mr. Matthias’s duties are focused on transaction management and he is responsible for leading the closing division of the company. Mr. Matthias has assisted in the origination and closing of more than $100mm in loan volume during his lending career.
Mr. Matthias’s background includes a wide range of experience in the real estate and finance sectors including loan origination, underwriting, process management, and accounting. Mr. Matthias was formerly a licensed agent in California prior to moving to Texas to start a family.
Mr. Matthias graduated from California State University Bakersfield with a degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Chi National Honor Societies. He enjoys spending time outdoors exploring Austin with his wife and newborn son.
Liz Stephens currently serves as the Director of Marketing for Easy Street Capital. As the head of marketing she is responsible for building an overall marketing strategy to drive inbound leads while building brand awareness.
She began her career a decade ago working inside innovative software startups in the fast paced Austin tech market.
Liz graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Communication Studies. While at Texas State, she was an active member of Chi Omega serving as their athletic chair. In her free time she enjoys volunteering for various dog rescues and spending weekends at the lake.
Marlee Friedman is a Senior Associate at Easy Street Capital where she is focused on loan servicing and sales.
Marlee has worked in the financial industry for more than 3 years. Previously, she worked at a community bank and was responsible for managing the high asset client accounts and overseeing day-to-day branch operations. With her experience in due diligence, financial software, and business development, she looks forward to helping borrowers be successful throughout their projects.
Marlee graduated from Texas Tech University where she played an influential role in fundraising to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center and promoting confidence throughout the young women residing in Lubbock, TX. Today, Marlee enjoys serving as a Literacy First Committee member and exploring the beautiful dog parks around Austin with her standard poodle.
Kirk Turner is a Senior Associate at Easy Street Capital. His primary responsibilities include processing construction draws, loan sales, and general portfolio management.
Mr. Turner began his career in global corporate risk working with many Fortune 500 companies across the world before pivoting towards project management and real estate. Since then, he has managed over $15mm in single family property renovations throughout Texas and is well versed in project and scope management processes.
Mr. Turner is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and enjoys biking, trail running, and sailing.
Mr. Esparza is an Account Manager at Easy Street Capital. Mr. Esparza’s primary responsibilities at Easy Street include originations, marketing, and client management.
Mr. Esparza’s background as an investment real estate consultant has helped multiple investors purchase investment opportunities in Austin, Texas as well as Bell County, TX. Mr. Esparza has experience working with investors to analyze deals from an investor’s perspective and has established a network of investors that he has helped on various projects from cosmetic updating to new build projects.
Mr. Esparza is an Austin native where he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the city.
Mr. Lemley is an Account Manager at Easy Street Capital. His focus is on originating loans, marketing, client management, and creating an easy and positive loan experience to help borrowers achieve their real estate investing goals.
His mortgage experience over the last 3 years has resulted in the closing of 200 plus loans for investors. He is well versed in both fix and flip and buy, rehab, and rent investing strategies in the Dallas and Houston markets. Prior to entering the lending space Mr. Lemley was a commercial real estate agent for just over 10 years focusing on retail and office investments.
Mr. Lemley graduated from the University of North Florida where he had an active role in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He resides in Dallas with his wife Angelica, daughter Anastasia with son Sebastian on the way. In his limited free time, you can find him riding one of his numerous bikes, playing golf, or on the pitch with his soccer team.
